MASTER OF SCIENCE DEGREE IN ACCOUNTING AND FINANCE
This MSc program in Accounting and Finance designed with the view to achieve the following specific objectives:
- To produce graduates who will assume different key positions in different organizations and assume academic posts in different higher institutions within the country that offer undergraduate program in Accounting and Finance.
- Train individuals who will conduct research in the area of Accounting, Finance, Auditing and Taxation.
- Train individuals who will be capable of providing consultancy services in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Finance and Taxation.
- Train individuals who will give expert services to corporate managers in the areas of Accounting, Auditing, Finance and Taxation.
- Train individuals who will be capable of carrying out business researches in public and private organizations.
- Produce individuals who will be able to design the Accounting and Reporting systems for the existing businesses and for them to be businesses expected to flourish in the near future.
- To build up the capacity of the staff required for launching PhD program in the department in the long run.
